Eyelid corrections

The skin of the eyelids is very thin and therefore prone to stretching. Consequently, many people develop excess skin in the eyelids over the years. A slight excess of skin in the eyelids is only cosmetically disturbing. However, when the skin hangs over the eyelid edge, it causes upper visual field restrictions. Often, not only the skin slackens, but also the underlying connective tissue. This can cause fat from the eye socket to bulge forward. This causes swelling of the eyelid.

At Dr Goekoop, you can get eyelid corrections. This is possible for both our own patients and people from outside the practice area. If you are interested, please contact us for a no-obligation introductory consultation with Dr Goekoop.
